Christmas- Here and There
Kids spice up Christmas! Although we firmly believe that Jesus is the reason to celebrate Christmas, we don't deny our children the fun and tradition passed down through the ages. CHRISTMAS EVE is spent with my family. Poppi and Nanni cook up a yummy meal and we kick back and relax. This year Samuel got a soccer goal. Uncle James put it together and took it outside for a test run. Glad we did since we've been snowed in ever since! :)
Since Caleb is serving in Iraq with the National Guard, we were several folks short this year. WE DID CALL Caleb on Skype and everyone crowded around the computer to chat with Caleb and wish him a Merry Christmas!
Tim made Nanni(Shirley) and Poppi(Dad) hats to compliment their commitment to running and staying healthy. LOVED THE HATS. On the front it says Out Running Age and the back says Catch Me If You Can.
Back out our house Christmas morning we unveiled the TRAIN TABLE! Both boys are super excited and are enjoying this table to the full extent. Though we have already had a few casualties since its appearance... Mia, the dog on the left is still ALL PUPPY. We have graciously let them sleep inside during the subzero temps and she has enjoyed chewing on wooden train tracks that have strayed.
Opening more gifts at Tim's parents house where we feasted again on delicious food and good company!
WE LITERALLY received MORE tractors than I can count this year. The boys are loaded up!
This is the "OH! I forgot to get a pictures of the boys in front of the tree. Quick look at the camera!" pose.
Mackenzie, Imy, and Liam-our beloved cousins
Grandmother- our angel! ;)
Snow Days
WE have enjoyed our white wonderland! From daring Daddy to do crazy shirtless stunts to sledding down hills, building snow mans and last but not least partaking in down home crazy fun! Enjoy the show! :)
Didn't see our crazy stunts? Well we didn't get any picture so use your imagination! Tim dug up an old car hood. Attached it to his truck with ropes and off to the pasture we went. Lots of screaming, multiple failed attempts and snow in the face best describes the experience. Tim said next snow he will do some "tweaking" and we'll be at it again!!!
